How to check the MOS damaged or not

The digital multimeter can check MOS status quickly. Here is one example to show how to test it as follows:

Materials/Tools: MOS & Multimeter

Instruction
1. The testing method of N channel MOSFET:
Turn the multimeter to the diode gear wheel.
2. Steps
Use the diode gear wheel to test G-S poles of 5N60C forward direction.
The red side of the multimeter to G, Black side to S, if the data on multimeter is OL, the Mosfet is good without damage.
Use the diode gear wheel to test D-S poles of 5N60C at opposite direction.
If the red side of the multimeter to S, the black side to D, and the data on multimeter is between 0.45-0.65vdc,the Mosfet is good without damage.
If the test data on multimeter is close to 0, it means the mosfet get damaged.
When charge the capacitance between poles G and S with the diode gear wheel of multimeter, for N channel mosfet charging, the red side of multimeter to G pole, and the black side to G pole.
After testing the D and S pole of 5N60C and confirm they are OK, then charge the gate-source capacitance of the mosfet with the diode gear wheel of multimeter.
As the input resistance of the MOSFET is in the GΩ level ( 1GΩ =1000MΩ ), the open-circuit voltage of the diode gear wheel of multimeter is 2.8-3V, after the gate-source capacitance being charged, the resistance between D and S pole of mosfet becomes very small, and can test if pole G and S get damaged.
Kind reminder:
Above test method is the way to test N channel Mosfet.
For P channel mosfet, test method is the same, just exchange the polarity of test lead of the multimeter.

Error code 01

Error code 01: Fan problem (Fan is locked when inverter is turned off)

Disconnect the load, grid input and solar input, just connect with battery and turn on the inverter. If still problem, then
Check if the fan works or not. If fans doesn’t run, check if anything block the fan. If the fan is blocked and doesn’t run, then
Disconnect the input power source, open the cover, and check if the fan wire is well connected or get loosed. If get loosed, make the well connected. If there is nothing block the fan and wires are well connected,
fan stil not run, then
If step 1-3 have been well checked and the fan still not work, replace the fan (The replacing fan must have the same model)

Error Code 02

Error code 02 : Over Temperature or Over Load.

If you are using Inverter 1.4KW then your load must be between 1 – 700KW. (you may increase the load if and only if you have more Amp getting from Solar Panels.

Note: You must install your inverter in ground floor is much better to install your inverter in top floor. This is because on the top floor heat temperature is very high rather than ground floor.

Error code 03

Error code 03: Battery voltage is too high

Check if the battery well connected. (For example: if the inverter battery voltage is 24vdc,should use 2pcs*12V battery is series connection. If your inverter battery input voltage is 48vdc, should use 4pcs*12V battery in series connection.)

Error code 04

Error code 04: Battery voltage is too low and load is too high.

Disconnect the load, grid input and solar input. Just connect battery and turn on the inverter, Check the battery votlage, if the battery votlage is too low ( For example, for 3k system,if the battery voltage is lower than 24Vdc. For 5k system, if the battery voltage is lower than 48Vdc), charge the battery in time is OK.

Problem description: Disconnect the load, grid input and solar input. Just connect battery, turn on the inverter and everything is ok without load. When connect with load, the inverter gives alarm for the lower battery voltage.
Solution: Check if the battery problem or if the battery is well connected, just replace the battery or re-connect the cable.
